ABOUT
Leandro began studying to play the piano at the age of 6, at 14 years old he began to develop his technique in order to learn and play his favourite songs.
Leandro developed his passion for music while listening to his fathers vinyl collection, including artists such as Queen, Pink Floyd, The Beatles and Lionel Richie to name a few. His biggest influence to date is the late Freddy Mercury who he still feels was one of the most inspirational lead singers of all time.
Leandro started to play publicly from the age of 18 and has performed in some of the most exclusive hotels in the Algarve including The Sheraton, Tivoli, Four Seasons and Dom Pedro. During that time Leandro has also been the lead singer of 3 different cover bands that have performed in bars around the Quinta do Lago, Vale de Lobo and Vilamoura area.
A couple of years ago Leandro began to perform at the Atlantic Piano bar in Vilamoura Marina where he currently works as a resident artist. Following his outstanding performances he is now famously known as the Piano Man!
His versatile voice, varied set list and great crowd interaction makes him one of the most requested musicians here in the Algarve.
